Samantha is very excited to be joining the practice. She earned her Master’s Degree from the University of Memphis in 2014 and has been working in retail health for the past 2 years. Prior to completing her Master’s Degree she worked on an adult cardiac step-down unit and at the Trauma ER at Regional One Health. She also received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Memphis in 2008.

 

While her training was in family practice she has spent the last 2 years working in a retail clinic providing care for acute needs and illnesses. She is looking forward to getting back into family practice and focusing on preventative care as well as treatment/management of chronic disease.

Samantha is a lifelong Memphian and has spent most of her adult life in the Midtown area. She has always been interested in healthcare and knew from an early age that she wanted to play an active part. Samantha graduated from East High School, which at the time was the only school that offered medical science and engineering classes. She has 2 young boys, both of whom she breastfed over a year while also working full time. Her family enjoys spending time at many of the area parks and attending local events. They also enjoy traveling to see extended family across the US. Samantha’s favorite pastime is getting engrossed in a good book. She also enjoys cooking and attending live music.
